A 2.5 km obstacle race for man or woman and dog with hills, slippery slopes, eels, bandages, and of course the food stop - huhu grubs, raw sheep's eyes, dry weetbix and tomato sauce to name a few !
This gives you a small TASTE of the 10th annual Hunterville Huntaway Festival being held on Saturday 27 October 2007. This is an event that brings country and towns people throughout the Rangitikei district and beyond together.

In conjunction with the Shemozzle we have a children's Shemozzle run on the obstacles set up in the town, a dog barking competition, pig yarding, speed shearing , wine tasting and numerous other activities.Come along and witness a proper "shemozzle" in a fun filled weekend with genuine Hunterville hospitality.
